The Green Revolution

Green Revolution is an agriculture system, it can doubled food production. It used chemicals and farm machinery. Green Revolution methods no longer to be successful because farmer must use expensive chemical fertilizers, expensive chemical insecticidies,and expensive watering. Many farmers cannot buy all the chemical and equipment. Finally the Green Revolution has social and political conflict that has interfered with food production. Only the larger landowners make the investment for maximum production, with their profit they can buy land from smaller farmers, they become richer and landless poor people increases. Government and farmer need to look at the long-term effect. They need to find new methods that will better of the meet the needs of the world’s hungry people and will also be less destructive.
